Had a great time with Diving the Crab. My girlfriend was getting her PADI Open Water and we went for a couple of dives. Leonard, her instructor, was great. Highly professional, took everything very methodically and clearly but managed to get through everything very fast and nothing felt laboured. Dives were fantastic. I've been diving a few times in Kenya... More

I have been a PADI Instructor for many years as well as a commercial diver in the past. Having dived and taught diving in Africa, Middle East and Europe I had heard good things about this centre. The start was good but some challenges came up as I was getting fitted. Some of the equipment did not fit etc but... More

I have just completed my PADI Open Water diving course at Diving the Crab at Nomads and felt compelled to write a review. From first contact, I have had nothing but professional service. My fears (due to dodgy ears) were allayed and I was immediately put at my ease. I cannot speak highly enough of Leonard. He was knowledgeable, professional... More

Leonard was brilliant. He talked us through the whole process, held my hand when I was too scared to continue and was an incredibly patient and knowledgeable guide through the process of scuba diving. The diving gear was clean and in good condition and the boats were well maintained. They even served us pineapple after our first dive! Diani is... More

Everything from pre dive to post dive was well organized and with a smile. Diving the MVF Funguo was great experience. No torches provided...need to have at least 1 torch to see marine life inside the hull. All else went smooth, gear was in decent condition. Thanks to Leonard, Samson the office guys, Swaleh and the boat captain but most... More

The first thing that put a smile on my face was learning that snorkelers do not go out on these boats. It's diving only. This is worth noting if you want to bring snorkelers along—you'll want to go with another operator. But, if you're a serious diver, then this news should be music to your ears. The next thing is... Nice people. Decent Boats. I used my own gear and am experienced diver. Dived the Funguo wreck and a reef. Wreck is very very good. Covered in large shoals of big fish. Recommended if your in town

Although the location was excellent and the diving itself enabled us to see 3 turtles and an octopus as a highlight, we were disappointed with the level of safety and organisation. Having dived mostly in the Red Sea with excellent dive companies, perhaps we had too high an expectation for Diving the Crab. My main concern was the lack of... More

Great friendly team, equipment is in good order and the diving is just amazing. The only reason why they did not get 5 stars is because my favour dive school in the world is also in the same area. However, they really are a good school. Thank you
