We visited the privately cleaned section adjoining Donna Slyvia. The place is clean, full of trees and almost completely free of any menace of dogs/cattle.

Ideal Beach to visit in Goa , Calm and peaceful. One of the most clean beaches I have come across. Lifeguards were there on active duty . There is a river which cuts the beach on one end . Hotel Leela is right on the...More

This place attracts you to relax and get into the environment. Feels more young here. However the place is bit dirty in some part which is crowded. I will recommend to take matress and sit somewhere far on the beach

Clean, with sandy, warm sea, good food at hand. If you eat at one of the shacks (recommended), they will keep a sunbed for you. The food is excellent (Mostly curries) and cheap. The sea appears clean, and on the one morning we watched a...More

We used to be in the beach at sunrise. At that time it was fairly emply and we could take long walks. My sons used to collect shells which were found more in the morning. The beach is fairly clean.

Private pristine and very clean. Best beach I have been to in Goa. Amazing stretch good for a dip in the sea as well as long walks.

We went in May 2016. Clean beach with small shacks which offer good seafood and drinks. Nice place to have a peaceful walk either during a sunrise or a sunset. Life guards were present at both times we went (sunrise and sunset). Safe beach for...More

We stayed at Don Sylvia so right on this beach. Used Rosario's shack most days as friendly, good food and free sunbebs ( as they all are). Beach was clean most places. love it when the cows came down to cool off. Hated the dogs...More

Beautiful beach - actually the beauty comes from its silence. The shacks are sad though, hardly any customers and the feel isn't like Anjuna or Baga. But the beach itself more than makes up for it :)

This is an easy walk to the beach if you staying in Dona Sylvia or Radisson Blu resorts. We went there to end of Mobor Beach ( water is much cleaner there ) and started walking towards Cavelossim Beach. The Golden color of the sand...More

Hi I am considering South Goa for my 70th birthday in November 2017. Will the weather be humid and is there a problem with flies and mosquitoes please? I would really like to spend my birthday somewhere warm and exotic. Regards Sheila Pritchard

No, we took sterling and exchanged it in the village. You will get a better exchange there than at the airport.

Is it better to exchange British pounds into Rupees at the Airport rather than the Hotel,or locally, Ive been told it takes ages to find a Bank or ATM in Goa and you could be queuing for hours. Is is easy to find the Pre Paid Taxi at the airport?

You had a lot of answers so I will make it very simple: 1. Don't exchange money at the airport. It is like USD/INR = 61 against exchange houses and hotel = 65. 2. There is a strong local union in South Goa. Others taxis are... More
