The best pier for miles around!

The best pier for miles around....and it's the right way up! Seriously though, it really is the jewel in the crown of the Cleveland Riviera

Fab pier for walking and fishing. Once a year it is decorated with knitted figures of all sorts and sizes. Lovely

This pier is a historic icon, beautifully constructed and striding out over the glorious beach at Saltburn. We walked along at high tide in February and the waves seemed to roll in just beneath our feet. A hardy fisherman was at the end trying his luck in the swell. The light towards the west was spectacular as evening approached, all... More

Nice pier but apart from the arcade during our visit many places were closed, think this was due to the time of year

Fantastically preserved pier which was great to spend time on, especially on a clear sunny day. We went on a Friday in November and I was surprised how busy the whole area was. Recommended.

Having just taken up Sea Fishing, and being limited to where I can go due to the kit I currently have, Pier fishing was an obvious choice. Saltburn Pier is a wonderful example of all that is good about British Piers , clean , well kept, with just the right amenities , loos , amusements and awesome fish and chips... More

This short Victorian pier is well preserved. It has the obligatory amusement arcade at the start (but you can walk around the side of it) and then it's a few minutes walk to the end of it. Plenty of food and drink options nearby.

The pier is a delightful step back in time. It's very clean and tidy and a quick stroll along it would shake any winter blues. Wrap up warm though the sea can become very rough and leap the railings

The pier is easy to access and walk along. It's very clean and the views from the far end are great.

We went to the pier and amusements at about 7:30 pm after visiting seaview and having a lovely meal. the children had a fun time at the amusements, however the conditions were grim everywhere you looked there were swarms of flies. I do not know if the problem has since been resolved or not.
