This oriental pearl (so named by Marco Polo) of a paradise is a great place for a “getaway from the big city” vacation. The air is extremely clean and fresh. The locals are very friendly. Much of the cuisine is about as organic as it...More

This lake is really nice and unusually clean for a Chinese lake. There is a really nice promenade along the shore which is well kept. The lake is surrounded by mountains which are not built over. Very nice and relaxing .

To me this is the perfect picture of paradise, the blue water , blue sky and complimented by the green shubs and trees, the area is steeped in perfect beauty.

I actually visited this lake in 2008. You would never imagine it but just outside of this massive city are some of the best views while hiking up the mountains.
