We took a half day trip here with a tour company. It takes an hour to get there and an hour to get back. There was nothing wrong with the tour company but the beach is hugely overrated. It's fill of boat fumes, people and...More

I didn't go to the beach but instead viewed it from above. It's a simple google map location if you have transport on the island. Go early in the morning 8am-9am and it's totally quiet. Boats start to gather thick and fast early so I...More

We visited Navagio Beach as part of a round the island boat trip. It's very a beautiful place and the story of why the shipwreck is there is interesting The water is so clear and lovey to have a swim in.. shingle beach which is...More

This place is simply beautiful! The sea is so blue and the shipwreck itself is interesting to see. I would advise taking sea shoes as it is very pebbly and painful to walk on. The sea is only shallow for a couple of metres then...More

Definitely the must see place in Zante. Make sure you see the beach from the top of the cliffs, as well as from the bottom. For the view from the top, don't go too early in the morning, as the sun won't be shining on...More

Seldom we saw the seawater so blue. A beautiful sight, both from above and after taking the boat trip.

An absolute must see. Be very careful in the water because there can be many boats docking in a small beach area that are careless to swimmers. I saw a man get his leg chopped open from a boat propeller. The boat gave him warning,...More

Great views, cheap boat tours. The colour of the water is amazing, you think your eyes are photoshopping what you are seeing

your best views are from the brochures just too busy. HOWEVER do the ronata boat trip and ince you have experienced shipwreck beach enjoy the rest of the day in splendid isolation and blue sea and caves.

We visited this beach on an organised boat trip. Beautiful beach but very busy and very hot. The sand looks perfect but it is very gritty so wear something on your feet. Be careful if you allow children to climb on the shipwreck as it...More

im not sure about this,an hour is honestly enough, its normally so busy and hot,any longer would be too much I think.
Hi We're thinking of booking this excursion when we come to Zante in August but am I right in thinking if you want get off the boat you have to swim to the shore? We have a small child however she is a competent swimmer but is the distance far to swim & deep from the boat to the shore? Many thanks
