We had a great tour in the underground city of Cricova. It's absolutely amazing and you should definitely see it if you're nearby. The tasting afterwards was pretty disappointing though.

I have never scene a more impressive wine cellar anywhere. The highlight of a trip to Moldova. Do not miss it even if you are not very interested in wine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We went on a tour of the winery before having the wine tasting. It was really cool to see all the wine barrels and storage of wines, whether it was the champagne bottles or people's personal wine collection. The wine is also very good! We...More

Did you go with an organized tour with guide from Chisinau or did you take public transportation and get a guide at the winery? How much time would you recommend for the visit? Thanks. Charles Louis

The girl at the reception desk in the hotel recommended a tour guide & driver, Valery Bradu. He is very fluent in (British) English, picked us up at the hotel at 10.30am, guided us thru Cricova and we were back at our hotel... More
