This place is unbelievable and the second biggest cathedral to the Vatican. Started building in 1955 it is blessed with modern materials and acoustics. Probably the South American equivalent of Lourdes with thousands visiting from all over SA at weekends so best to visit midweek.

The National Sanctuary is an imponent church built in the 1950's and a symbol of the catholic faith in Brazil. All mass services are fully loaded during weekends and has an excellent structure for visitors.
