This was a nice temple, the shrine maidens were all dressed up around the shrine getting ready for New Years. But today there was a good view of Fuji and nice nature relaxing feel to the shrine.

This temple complex is relatively small. It is pretty and has a crystal clear water lake fed by Mt Fuji. We were out of luck when it comes to viewing Mt Fuji; the moutain was totally obscured; heavy clouds in the summer afternoon.

The shrine area includes several buildings and shrines, as well as beautiful water features. Combination and culture and scenery was a photographer's dream! And of course views of Mt. Fuji!

This is a shrine from where on a clear day you can see Mt. Fuji. This shrine is beautifully located surrounded by a lake and wilderness area.

If you come to see mount Fuji and you have time, then the shrine is a nice place to visit. the biggest attraction are the many ducks that swim in the ponds. Other than that there's not much to see.
