Located in the cove of Tamandaré. Having its access by paved street (street fourteen). The Fort of Santo Inacio de Loyola, also known as Fort of Tamandaré. It represents a bit of the history of Pernambuco and Brazil. Recently restored. It has guides that tell the history of the fort and the region. In addition to handicraft shops, a lighthouse and a chapel. Open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Tickets 5 reais and 2.50 half-way tickets.

It just wasn't better because we were dying for a coffee after lunch, lol. Geoás took the “tour” with us and served us with great care, attention and patience, hehehe. We went with teenagers and small children. The fun was complemented by the kitties Luna and Sol, the site's feline mascots. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

The Fort in Tamandaré

The fort is well preserved and gives an idea of Brazil's current times. They could explore more the figure of Tamandaré, who was a great Brazilian hero.
Simplicity, including in the determinations of his will, adequately wrote his name in the history of Brazil. In front, a nice path that leads to modest but great-looking beaches.
