A very cozy and high quality restaurant besides interesting museum. Unfourtunately it might be that the museum won't continue its operations.

This Arts and Crafts house is sublime, rivalling Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Hillhouse in Helensburgh and the Greene and Greene's Gamble House in Pasedena. It costs 9 Euros. No point in saying more. If you are thinking about visiting, you probably have some knowledge of what...More

We have family in Espoo, Finland, and make it a point to spend time at Hvittrask each time we visit them. The history of the buildings, and their occupants, is very interesting. The architecture and interior design are exceptional. We also enjoy eating at Ravintola...More

I was lucky to have a guide show us through the studio and the large, Saarinen house. The brochures and plaques, however, are also very good. It was the best! start with lunch a the next door restaurant.

The place everyone should visit is the museum. But you'll get nice experience of the place just walking around the area -take a path to the graves and from there down to the beach.

Beautiful place to spend a hour or two in nature. The architecture in the house is interesting but you will need to know something about Finnish art history to really appreciate it. The cafe and restaurant are good quality at reasonable prices

We travelled from Helsinki to see this example of real Finnish design and we're thrilled to visit this arts and craft style home. The location overlooking the lake is stunning and the gardens are lovely for a picnic.
