Good walk in beautiful surrounding

Good walk in a beautiful area. Spoiled by dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs. Lovely birds. But not to busy.

Easy to find country park. Some great walking routes to be sampled packed with interest. Lots for younger children too.

I met my friend here who has a baby a similar age to mine - we like to meet where we can walk and talk - then have a drink afterwards. Sywell country park certainly filled the criteria! We enjoyed a decent length walk around the lake with most of the paths being fairly accessible for our pushchairs. The cafe... More

We came here with our dog to let her off the lead. We enjoyed the walk around the reservoir and the welcome cuppa and cake. There were lots of families enjoying the parks facilitjes. We shall come again with the binoculars.

Lovely few hours here today walking my dog. Very dog frendly, nice paths to walk on and lots of people with prams here so easy access. Lots of picnic areas and play areas for the kids. And a little cafe that's reasonably priced. Plus nice ice cream! £3 for parking mind you, but you can pay with coins or card.

We visit Sywell country park every weekend to walk our dogs around the lake. I also work with disabled children who I regular bring to play in the sand pit and to have an ice cream. It's £3 for parking which I don't mind paying but a lot of people just don't pay. This money is to keep the play... More

I have been to Sywell before a few years ago, however they have made some good improvements which only make this place even better. It is about a 3 mile walk around the country park walking close to the waters edge. You can let your dogs off the lead (except for a small nature reserve). There are dog poo bins... More

We had a lovely walk... just needs the paths upgrading as we had a buggy and it was hard work in some places.

This is a great place for a nice walk in fresh air away from cars and push bikes - great for exercising dogs. The walk around the lake is about 2.5 miles and the views are lovely. There is a cafe and activity area for children which is very popular The walk can be difficult and dangerous in winter when... More
