One of the beautiful temples in Kumbakonam dedicated to Lord Karthikeya . The architecture is superb and it's wonderful to see the typical methods of worship .

being one of the 6 abodes of muruga , this temple attracts a good crowd . its a big temple and one has to climb a flight of steep steps to reach the place of the main deity .

During the Navagraha Temple tour, this is one additional temple ( along with Upillapan and Ayyawadi Sri Pratyingara Devi temple)that one must visit ..It is a nice temple located on a hillock....One has to climb about 100+ steps to reach there...but that was not difficult...More

This temple is on a small hillock tucked away from the road. It is of the six temples for Lord Murugan. It requires one to climb steps to access the temple. It is quite serene up the stair and nice place for darshan

I dont think so. Kumbakonam is hardly 8 kms and has all categories of accomodation.
