This gold mine (now closed) used to be No. 2 gold mine in Japan after Sado. Do not miss (actually to touch) the world's largest gold bullion. This place was quite enjoyable.

Delightful old display about gold mining in Japan. Worth while visit just to see the figures and mechanics of display. Some interesting info and a good long walk underground. Easy access.
