Any hotel in Shiraz will offer a half day trip to Persepolis in a car and it costs 30$ per person providing that there are at least two guests. (Takes one hour from Shiraz) Amazing details in massive size, probably contemporary with the Egyptian counterpart....More

A very famous, much visited site of Persepolis. Very impressive, by its age, and nice location. Early morning is a good time to travel, also because of temperatures.
