It is a tower built by Mughal emperor Akbar in memory of his favourite elephant Hiran. Eighty feet high circular tower covered with stone Projections in form of elephant tusks. In another account Abul Fazal mentioned it as a mile post, for helping travellers.

Saw this structure from a distance. This is more of a cenotaph dedicated to Akbar's favourite Elephant. It's built on the burial ground of the elephant. Its a cylindrical pillar kind of structure built in sand stone.

This is closed now, we can see this from fort only. It is believed that if any couple with step up all the stairs of this Pillar or Minar then they will definitely get married.

Can be seen from Buland Darwaza area itself. It was built in memory of Akbar's favorite elephant by the Emperor himself. When elephant died, he was buried and a minar (lighthouse) kind of structure on constructed on it
