This pass easy to travel through with a normal car to Malealea lodge. When you get to the top of the pass you see through the gates an African Paradise, one of the best views whilst driving through the real Africa. A real must!

View point on route to Malealea lodge. A must stop and behold. The road then drops slightly and if you keep right then after about 8km you will come upon malealea lodge and pony trekking centre.

Well another vision of paradise. It is a wonderful view and it touches your sole but whether this is what paradise looks like, it remains a beautiful view.

Rough road leads to the Gates of Paradise Pass and spectacular view of Lesotho valleys and mountains.

The pass is on the road to Malealea. You approach it by a fairly average rough track but then you squeeze through between some large rocks and suddenly information of you is the most breathtaking vista.

Amazing views as you come through the gates. Road is a bit rough and tumble so a vehicle with higher clearance makes the trip much easier.

On the road to Malealea Lodge and village, on a very bad dirt road. Good views but a long road to get there

Amazing scenery, but very tough roads. You need a 4x 4 or you're in trouble and I wouldn't want to tackle it in the rainy season!

Up and up the winding pass, almost there, another bend, a hump in the track, and then, WOW. Could even make a believer out of this heathen !
