This "wine" is terrible. I would not recommend sampling this stuff, it's sweet or bitter depending on the fruit its made from.

Obviously this is just my opinion, but the liquid they call fruit wine in this whole town of Sirince is probably the worst tasting swill I have ever tasted. It bears no resemblance whatsoever to wine. If you want to save the trip to Sirince, just go buy yourself some cough syrup. Why two stars? This place was nice enough... More

To be fair, it's interesting to taste the platter of fruit wine. Yet, the service is terrible and the waiter and owner offered us different price. One said it's 25tl, another said 20tl for tasting, but free if we buy something in the shop.

This was our first wine tasting stop on a private tour we had arranged. We tasted many village fruit wines but our favorite was the Mulberry wine. We were also served a plate of delicious bread, olive oil and cheese. To our surprise, we loved the olive oil as much as the wine tasting. With the help of our guide,... More

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. The manager never even looked at us after pouring the wine. Only after rudely pushing us to a corner when a tour group came in did he even talk to us to tell us to pay. Considering we were the only people in Kaplankaya for nearly an hour, we felt completely de-humanized and... More

This is a very cute village with old tradition on fruit wine, any visitor can't miss a wine tasting experience. Here you can try wine made from different kind of fruits grown locally. Melon, cherry, grapes, peach, raspberry, pomegranate, etc. Definitely worth a visit, if you are around.

We had a nice private tour with Amanda, the grand daughter of the creator of the winery (who was still working the vines while we were there). The plate of cheeses, tomatoes and bread was a nice addition to the experience. Very nice.
