This experience was the highlight of our trip to Maui. We saw a whale within minutes of leaving the harbor and it just got better for the duration of the ride. Captain and crew were respectful of keeping a safe (and required) distance from the mother and baby whales while educating the visitors with their knowledge of marine and mammal... More

Pacific Whale Foundation have very knowledgeable staff however the boats are large and can hold I think up to 150 people. The best seats are at the front of the boat and to guarantee them I would get a membership as you board first on the boat. On our trip we didn't find that the boat turned at all so... More

We had a great cruise, seeing whales along the way to Manele Bay. The crew did an amazing job providing information on the whales, dolphins, and snorkeling. They served lunch with aloha. We had so much fun with other passengers on the cruise from Wisconsin and Kentucky. Great experience for all.

Enjoyed the evening with great food!! Saw whales and learned along the way. Would definitely recommend but this truly was not a whale watch though we thought it was - we had dinner cocktail - the whales were an added bonus

The crew was spectacular. Not only are they informative about the whales and the environment, they are especially aware of their passengers safety. They are on boards in the water while you are snorkeling to ensure that everyone stays safe. The captain did an amazing job maneuvering the boat back into Lahaina harbor.

This is the 4th time we went out with Pacific Whale Foundation, and love it. The boats are comfortable and stable, and of course the best part is we have seen lots of whales! The boats are great for kids, as the viewing angles are pretty great, and the crew ask that adults let the kids up front.

We did not enjoy this as much as last year. They did not drop in the hydrophone to hear the whale sounds and it was very crowded. Go for a smaller boat and you will see more. They have degenerated to a pure tourist get 'em in and out kind of event pushing drinks and reminding you to tip.
