Rocky Point Kayak is located at the foot of the boat launch at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. Our sheltered location offers easy access to the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. The calm waters at Rocky Point have an abundance of bird and wildlife just a short paddle from shore. Stunning scenery and secluded beaches provide a quick wilderness escape despite being only 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We offer hourly, daily, or weekly rentals, of kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. In addition, we offer Paddle Canada certified lesson programs and tours, and many weekly drop-in social paddles. We have the staff and equipment to host large group or corporate outing and specialize in school paddle trips and lessons. We operate seasonally from April 1 to the end of Thanksgiving. We have a large rental fleet with a diverse range of boats for novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers. Our rental fleet consists of single, double, family-friendly double kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards.

This place is the perfect summer day to spend your time! It's very spacey with ice cream shop, pajos fish n chips, pool, children's waterpark, AND kayaking/paddle/canoe. I went on the single kayak (my first time). I was nervous at first but it all went...More

My husband and I wanted to check out the inlet, but most kayaks aren't fat-friendly. So, we called Rocky Point and they said their canoes might be a great idea. We spent 2 hours canoeing around the inlet. The life jacket definitely fit me, the...More

Only 1 of 3 in our party has been paddle boarding(once). When we asked if they had any tips or instructions, like how to get back on if we fall off, the kid said, "Um I dunno, just wing it I guess. You'll figure it...More

Thank you for the kind words and glad you had a nice paddle on perhaps one of the busiest days of the year in Rocky Point. I will be sure to pass this onto the staff.

The other reviewers have already stated the good supply of equipment and wildlife/birds. It has expanded so much in the last few years. Rocky Point Location is great. Watch the tides as it can get pretty shallow in the inlet.

A single kayak 2 hour rental is $32 + tax. Pleasant service in the kiosk and at the wharf. It's not that pretty in Port Moody inlet though - quite industrial which surprised me. We still did see seal mamas with pups, cormorants, jelly fish,...More

We were happy to be able to rent two single kayaks with little notice (Thursday). You can rent single, double kayaks, paddle boards and canoes from Rocky Point Kayak. When we showed up just before noon they were clearly busy with many customers! Paperwork went...More
