The emerals colour of the river keeps enchanting you all the way, can't stop taking pictures! about 1 hour and a half, with many stops on the way. At the ticket boot you get a map and full explenation where to go and visit.

This is an easy (ish) walk, well marked with remarkably beautiful views, some strikingly vertiginous. Be prepared if you’re afraid of heights. The steep stairway down from the top to the river floor can be frightening, but the trail’s steel cable handrails are sturdily reassuring....More

Only a short distance from the main highway, this detour to see the gorge is definitelty worth it. From the carpark it is an easy walk to the main gorge which features the fast- moving river, steep narrow cliff faces and a spectacular bridge (built...More

Gorgeous nature walking along the Tolmin river with marble like rocks and aquamarine colored water - 3 hanging bridges for great views and easy footpaths with viewing platforms- anyone can do it - 2 hrs round trip from parking lot.

This is a truly magical place, hidden in the gorge of Tolmin. The colors of the water are unbelievable. Great to visit on hot summer days.

Lovely trail and views of the two rivers and their meeting point, as well as beautiful fauna. Some say that it compares to Vintgar Gorge by Bled, but I disagree. This gorge is a beautiful, albeit more modest complement, to its more grandiose cousin Vintgar,...More

I visited the gorge solo and only had roughly 45min to spare here. It was a beautiful place with not a lot of tourists even during "high" season. I would have loved to spend more time there, but even with the length I had, it...More

The gorge is easily accessible, paths are well maintained. Entrance fee of 5 euros is worth it. Those who are not fit to climb the high stairs can see the lower part where you see most of it and return. I saw several people doing...More

In summer there was just a plain gravel road from Tolmin side to the gorges. Tickets were sold from a booth. There is a public road that goes through the gorge via upper tunnel and bridge. I cannot imagine how it can be... More

Not really swim, more dip your feet in and cool off. We went to about knee high in the water and we were freezing. The water is rushing and there is a lot of rocks, so its not really a place to swim.
