Incredible place to visit. When you think this is 2500 years old, this is really astonishing. One of the most beautiful antic site I have ever seen so far

We were very disappointed because of organization, price of the entrance and services. There were not enough indicators to get places. The museum also didn't have explanations. You have to walk under the sun and try to for your way. The tickets are free for...More

The theatre is in good order and fascinating when lots of different nationalities visiting and singing or acting on the 'stage'. Other buildings and ruins over a larger site to see too.

The performances at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus are a unique experience for everyone. It is something that can not be described in words, but if left, you will surely feel it. The area of Ancient Epidaurus is a specific route I love. It is...More

We attended a performance at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus at the Athens Acropolis so we thought visiting the theatre at Epidaurus would be pretty much the same. It was not. The theatre is many times larger and the natural setting, with the mountains and...More

It is a unique experience to visit the the there. The acoustics are great and anything spoken from one end reaches far. We were lucky to witness a show in the evening.

I go there every year to enjoy this amazing experience. I don't prefer the comedies, usually they are mistreated by the contemporary directors

Amazing place and will definitely go back for a concert. It was shaded in the walk up to the theatre which was good. Not easy if you have mobility problems to get up inside the amphitheater.

A unique experience, a magnificent feeling in Greece's most famous ancient theatre. Depending on the play (you have to check the producers and performers) it can be really fantastic. We were lucky the play was excellent.

The theatre in Epidaurus is one of the best kept ancient Theatres in the region. A Greek festival is still organised in the theatre of which the acoustic is superb! If you drop a coin on the marble plate in the middle of the theatre,...More

I booked guided bus trips from my Athens hotel for most places in Greece. This included trips to Sounion, Delphi, Mycenae, and Epidaurus.
