Very impressive place. I got there at sunset in October and had the place to myself. Got some lovely photos (added here) as the monument is lit up red at night. I hope this place is on EVERYONE’S tour of the region.

This place makes us remember those who sacrificed their lives for life. Spent all day visiting Çanakkale Şehitlik Abidesi, I am proud for all theese heroes.

It's historical place, refer to 1 global war, Ataturk and his proud army has been defended of Turkey and thay had been winer, it's better you take tour if you'd like to visit of all "şahitlik" it was cheap, when I go here in 2017...More

All of them are heroes and they deserve great respect. We should also know very well history. Construction of monument lasted more than ten years and was finished with donations. The monument delineates two soldiers with shoulder to shoulder. There was also museum under the...More

It is impossible not to become too emotional! Feeling verry sorry for every young men who is dead because of this war. Plan this visit with tour guides to fully appreciate this historical experience
