On Friday October 21st we attended a wedding at Sprucewood. The wine, a Reisling was tasteful along with appetizers. The dinner was a mix of pasta, chicken, mixed vegatables and salad which was excellent. The venue was beautiful and decorated a nice country shic style. The service was excellent at the bar, the drinks constantly flowing and staff ensuring we... More

Do not miss out on this stately location! An immense lawn leads to a private beach where you can take in the water with a glass of wine.

We have been here a few times and enjoyed our experience. Great wine and they have a large property to walk around it is on the lake nice place to have picnic. The basket has meat slices, bread and cheeses and even brownies. Light fare. Eat fast bees can be bothersome. Nice overall.

The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a modern winery with an old, rustic look and feel. The wines are interesting, definitely worth a try. The location on the shore of Lake Erie is one of the highlights; they even have a beach. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend ordering one of their picnic baskets and... More

We have a summer place nearby and have had the good fortune to be able to taste a great many of the area wines, and by far my favorite 'beach wine' is the Sprucewood Shores Pinot Grigio....Lovely. Light and fruity but not sweet. Summer in a bottle!

During my last tour of the Lake Erie North Shore Designated Viticultural Area I had the opportunity to stop in at this winery. It was an amazing experience! The wines were wonderful. I especially loved the sparkling wine which I was able to try. Our host, one of the owners, then presented us with a warmed mulled wine. It is... More

Beautiful location and new addition. Can't get much better than their picnic baskets on one of their picnic tables on a nice day. Gives me pride to reside in Windsor Essex.

This location was for us the farthest away and therefor would be our lunch stop. It was meant to be a surprise for my wife, a picnic basket plus a bottle of wine on the beach was my secret plan. However . . . . it was raining when we arrived, just behind the tour trolly full of chatty people.... More

On a tour with 26 Veterans and their families. Owner came in while our tour guide was mid sentences and stoped our tour, claiming we had no reservation. Very rude! Obviously over worked. I will not be buying any of their wine or planning an event at their venue. The wine making room was very dirty made me regret the... More

Wonderful setting on Lake Erie and a very nice facility for tasting and they also hold weddings there. Their Riesling is excellent.
