Great hiking here, and an impressive waterfall. Worth visiting at any time of the year. It's also free.

This is very close to my home I pass by on a regular basis it is a very peaceful area near the falls. Southgate is adding newer gardens and areas to sit near the falls which will look lovely when a bit mature next year.

This is a nice place to stop for a picnic, go for a walk, swim, or to stay and camp out. I have hiked here many times, and it is quiet and well kept.

We absolutely love McGowan falls..its a fun place for the kids to go and have fun..especially on hot day and after go for an ice cream.
