If you like anything to do with glass production this is one not to be missed. Tony met us within seconds of parking up and instantly we discovered such a likeable chap. Lorraine made sure we were comfortable as we settled in Tony's studio.
Then the glass fun began, this was truly an education and the way Tony put the subject across his experience shone through.
I was not only surprised but pleased as to how hands on this experience was, we made a collection of different items from Xmas baubles to little vases. Even if it went a little wrong it was still fab fun.
After a couple of hours we were invited into the dining room where Lorraine had produced what can only be described as a feast for a King lunch. The choice and quality of food was unbelievable and Lorraine "Thanks for being the perfect hostess"
Then we were back to the "Glory Hole" where we made a few more items and Tony continued to share is skills.
One of those days I didn't want to end. Thankyou so much. Chris & Sue

Tony was a great host, very thorough and hospitable. He demonstrated the ways in which to create various items and then let us have a go ourselves talking us through the process. Between 3 of us we'd made several items each, which we can't wait to collect! Before booking the experience I'd researched several other places that do similar days but am so glad we booked with Tony, the day was tailored to what we wanted to do, there was no set regime, and the value for money definitely shows when we made so many items each. So glad we travelled a little further for the experience. The food spread put on by Lorraine as well was incredible, catered to our fussy needs and we were spoilt for choice, all home cooked & delicious. 10/10 recommend

I can thoroughly recommend this experience having spent a wonderful time learning with Tony - from the outset he not only explained what to do but encouraged practical participation, tailoring what we'd make to what I wanted, rather than sticking to a prescribed format. This made me feel it was a personal experience rather than generic. This, along with the excellent lunch provided by Lorraine made this a day to remember ... and the added bonus of a variety of items including baubles, vases and an dish.

Absolute fantastic day of glass blowing with Tony. We came in as complete beginners and left 5 hours later with a number of pieces. Tony was a great host, super knowledgeable, very friendly and chatty. He showed us a number of techniques which we then replicated.
Lorraine provided a truly outstanding lunch which topped off the day!

Hubby and I had an amazing morning with Tony. We always wanted to try glass blowing and this could not have been any better. Tony is so knowledgeable and is so easy going. We managed to make quite a few pieces, which we can’t wait to collect. Then to top it off, his wife Lorraine put on an amazing spread for lunch - so much wonderful food. Thank you both for a great experience.

Me and my partner spent a full day glassblowing with Tony and were amazed with what we came away with!
Tony is an excellent teacher; he creates a really friendly, easy atmosphere, making you instantly feel comfortable and at home. He provides a good mixture of demonstrations, letting you make things on your own, and supporting you where needed! We really liked the set up; Tony has his garage converted into a workshop, with a garden attached, and then his home over the road attached to the old village post office which his wife Lorraine runs. We found him open to experimenting with ideas we brought along for things to make - we came away with baubles, a jug, a witches ball, tumblers, and vases!
Be prepared to have a serious feast at lunchtime which Lorraine prepares! Highly recommend glassblowing with Tony, we couldn't have asked for anything more! It was a really special experience.

Tony and Loraine were very welcoming when we arrived with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee to keep us going throughout the day. The lunch was amazing, so much food and it was all so great.
Everything was well set up for us to get stuck in as soon as we arrived. The pieces we made were a lot more interesting and complicated than we thought we would be making. Tony was very helpful and informative throughout and allowed us to put our own creative spin on each piece with choice of colours, shapes and design. Even when we broke pieces we were allowed to make another, and another :).
All in all a wonderful day and we can't wait to pick up our masterpieces.

Tony is the best! So patient and willing answer questions. Equal amounts of hands on experience with demonstrations to show what the item should look like. I'm not exceptionally crafty and had zero glass experience but have been wanting to try more unique crafts for a while and this is the perfect one to get you hands on and have something to show for it.
Just a heads up the food was amazing too, Lorraine is a master in the kitchen!
