Ringerikes Museum is a museum of local history concerning, primarily, the history of the rectory. Several famous Norwegians such as Asbjørnsen and Moe and Anna Colbjørnsdatter resided at the rectory. The rooms are furnished with historically correct items and there is also a section devoted to the local resistance efforts during the Second World War. In addition the museum houses an outstanding collection of icons.
