Awesome time at the Dolphinarium. Yani our dolphin was awesome. Very flirty and animated. Spent 30 minutes in a private session. Yani just kept wanting a kiss every time she got close to someone. The trainers were great.

Travelled here as a family of four, with two young children, ages 5 and 9. Booked the excursion from the tour agent area of our resort (Iberostar Holguin) - our youngest kid was free and for the rest of us it was about 120 USD. Bus journey was quick with a few stops to pickup other tourists.

We had an amazing experience. You get a lot of time to interact and swim with the dolphins, there is a professional photographer on site, and a bar to get cold drinks for everyone in the family. We had so much fun. Handling the dolphins was very unique and the animals are all well taken care of.

The manager of the site - I sadly cannot remember his name - was such a wonderful person to talk to. He opened the restaurant doors and let the kids have access to an additional viewing area to watch the sea lions and their pups (youngest was 3 days old!!). He was showing me the old bottles of rum they have - one is about 500 years old!! They have Fidel Castro’s signature on display there from a visit as well. He discussed a lot of topics with me - truly a wonderful gentleman.

I would not hesitate to do this excursion again!!

This was the top experience of our three weeks vacation in Cuba. You will never forget those gentle animals. Touching their skin is something special. We were staying in casa particular and it was easy to book the tour for the next day. The price was not high for what we got. I recomand it to anyone.

Second time swimming with Dolphins, first time at this Delfinario. The animals were fun, gentle and fantastic to watch. Some of us went into the water with them and had the chance to mingle a little, they are very soft to touch and love to play.
This would be a good choice for a family excursion.

We booked the swimming with dolphins months before traveling to Cuba through the agency Viajes Kronos located in Havana. Everything went smoothly: they picked us up on time at our hotel, brought us to the meeting point where we met our precious guide Tina and sailed to the delphinarium. The cruise lasts approximately 15 minutes. Once arrived, we had time to drink something at the open bar (alcohol only after the swimming) and went straight to the pools! There are several pools of dolphins divided only by nets (they told us that in the night they take away the nets to let the dolphins swim together), one pool for seals and one pool for sea lions. The animals looked all happy and in excellent conditions! There are around three shows per day and they rotate the dolphins in order not to stress them. We swam with a group of around 8 people with the beautiful dolphins Sisi and Dana. It was our first experience with dolphins and we were amazed by their intelligence and grace despite their strength! We really loved it! There is a professional photographer who will take a shot of you and print it at the moment in A4 format for 10 CUC. Otherwise you can leave your camera with Tina, who really does her best to take as many pics and videos as possible. We discovered too late that you can also sleep at the delphinarium! The price for two people is around 245 CUC per night and it’s actually very good considered that it’s all inclusive: meals, private swimming with dolphins (only for that we paid 150 USD per couple) and a stunning bay at your disposal! After the swimming you have time to change, discover the other pools and have a drink at the open bar. We started from our hotel at 8 am and were back at 11:30 am. Defiteky worth every CUC!!!

Fantastic experience for our family holiday this year at a really well provided facility where the dolphins welfare is obviously of the highest priority.
We had a family swim with one of the dolphins, Brenda!, and had a show, followed by a fantastic meal and a boat ride around the bay.
Great to see how well cared for the dolphins are as they are let out into the bay every few days but they all choose to return, a great testament to the staff and the respect shown to the animals.
Definitely worth a visit.

I've never seen a dolphin in real life but the experience was incredible. We went in a party of 8. 5 adults which 1 was 63 years old and 3 teenagers 11, 13 and 17. The journey from the hotel was very easy via bus. It was only around 15-20minutes. The boat trip to the place the dolphins was great fun. They were letting kids drive the boat and willing to take photos. Once we got to the dolphins I was in amazement. They were amazingly intelligent and incredible to be with. A professional photographer would take a few pics which you could buy at 10cuc each or they would take pics with your own camera for free. Drinks were free at the bar. You could stay over night for 245cuc for 2 adults. You could add 2 more people to your overnight stay. Per child was 55cuc and adult was 99cuc. They had 2 rooms so they could house up to 8people per night. This includes time with the dolphins in the afternoon. Free drinks at the bar and a free buffet dinner. You then get an hour with the dolphins in the morning.

Tina was our tour guide and was a bubbly character. You have a short coach trip and then boat trip to the dolphinarium. You watch a sealion show and are assigned group numbers. We had 5. The 1st 3 went off and we waited our turn. You can sit in the same café or have a little wander watching the other groups or spotting dolphins in the other pools. When our turn to swim with the dolphins came up I wasn't 100% sure what to expect but it was brilliant. Tina took loads of pictures for me on my phone and we also paid 10 peso for the official picture. The trainer was warm and friendly and we had a lovely time. After a quick dry off we watched the dolphin show. It was shorter & less tricks than another I'd seen in Majorca but was still nice and my son was picked to go to the pontoon which absolutely made his day! As soon as the show ends you head back to the boat. It is a well organised half day trip with excellent staff.
