This park is beautiful and offers great walks to see the glaciers. We visited 2 points of the park. Bergsetbreen has a walk of about 2 hours and passes through incredible landscapes. Nigardsbren has the most touristy access and you arrive with the car very close to the glacier. As we were at the end of September, the boat was... More

Visiting the Nigardsbreen glacier could be tiring, especially if you take an ice hike. The JN Center is the perfect place to end the day. The food is good, the view from the balcony superb, the staff friendly.

Helpful staff and wonderful views of the glacier - what more can you ask for? Definitely worth a stop here.

Don't miss the glacier. It's about a 45 minute walk (or ride the little trams) up to the lake at the foot of the glacier. Stunning!

We came here on our way to our hotel. The glacier was so amazing as I have never seen one up close. We had just visited the glacier museum so it was even more special to me. The blue colorations in the ice was beautiful. Very nice place to walk around and take pictures on nature.

We stopped here after driving up around Jostedalsbreen National Park from the south (highly recommended), and it was a nice rest stop with food and souvenirs and small museum. If anything, make use of it to plan you fantastic hikes or drives or biking through the park and have a coffee and cake at the shop outside :)

interesting place to spend an hour or two learning about the geography and history of the area. Help was very pleasant and friendly. Merchandise was reasonably priced.

We came here as part of a coach tour off a cruise boat. We saw a really interesting film about the area and glaciers and then went into their restaurant to eat a local pancake. There's a small museum inside and a number of large rocks outside to explore. It's location right by the lake was very nice and peaceful.... More
