We went there three times during our 6 days stay... the water is warm and clean, the beach is made of pebbles...you can practice water sports...easy to park and lots of places to eat nearby. We really enjoyed having our sunbeds at Malibu Summer (12€ for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), there is music and even a pool.

Sandy beach so clear. Shower to rinse feet off. Beach to just pop towel down or hire budget sun beds with restaurants or something a little more luxury at the Malibu beach bar.
The sea was so warm to swim in end of May with fabulous views of snow capped mountains across in Albania. Sea is shallow for quite sometime and does not get deep quick so great beach for children.

This review is for the part of the beach that the resort uses and supposedly maintains (which is most of it). It was disgusting. Bits of trash were everywhere, both in the water and on the beach. The water was cloudy, with patches of bubbles confirming the water was not clean. Dead, floating seaweed was everywhere.

Worth a visit from corfu town! My hotel recommended Malibu beach in Dassia bay, got the no. 7 bus for €1.50 each way. It’s a lovely sandy beach not like other pebble beaches in corfu town. The sun beds were too expensive for me €55 for 2 with umbrella but there’s a spot on the beach for sunbathers to place their towels

This is no beach, unless you go to the fancy big hotel in the area (Ikos) and pay 40 euros for the sunbeds and umbrella. The thin strip of land in front of restaurants and bars is unkept and littered with trash (there are no trash cans and tourists are messy). Although I had no expectations for the holidays (as we booked a budget vacation), I was a bit disappointed by the beach area

We have a shuttle bus from our hotel which gave us 4 hours on the beach. Plenty enough time for me to be honest.
Got there just after 10am. Plenty of beds to choose from either €14 or €16 for 2 beds & umbrella depending on which type of bed you wanted. Beach was shingle. Clear water but just a bit chaotic for me. Just my personal opinion.

Saw a review recommending the Malibu beach Club beds and was glad I did. Told us where to get off the bus for a short walk to the spot. It was €15 per bed & a parasol, with thick padding, attentive staff and rest room and shower and changing facilities. Drinks were pricey but you didn't have to move from your bed, and was lovely surroundings. The water was warm, and the meal we had was nice. The facilities are well maintained.
We walked further down to Dassia Watersports for a Pedal Boat hire which was good fun and saw cheaper options for sunbeds and food and drinks. Didn't look as comfortable or feel as luxurious though. We had a lovely relaxing day there and spent €100 on food and drinks. We took some snacks which staff didn't mind us eating. They were really friendly and helpful.

Pebbled beach at shore which almost immediately changes to sand at water. The most expensive sunbeds found at Ikos Dassia hotel and Malibu summeri 35 e/2 chairs and umbrella. Cheapest sunbeds are last ones at the another distsnce from Ikos Dassia only 3,50 e+1,50 e umbrella. Don't pay for super expensive umbrellas, its worth walking at the end of the beach. At the end of the beach plenty of space to put your own towel to the beach and go for a swim. A bit garbage is on the beach, but not too dirty. Ok beach, not the most beautiful I have seen, but ok for swimming and sunbathing.

Stayed at Magna Gracia and decided to take a walk on the beach one evening. Don't bother unless you are staying at Ikos all inclusive pretentious palace. Not allowed to walk along the concrete path, have to stay on the beach slats. Dare to move even to sit for a minute to put shoes back on and security will move you. The guests will look at you like something dredged from the sea too.
This place has killed the Dassia Night life and any hope of a decent space on the non pebbled beach.

Not impressed . A very large stretch was taken over by the All Inclusive IKOS hotels private beach bed/loungers - whilst it was a public beach it was patrolled by IKOS guards which was intimidating. The beach is pebbly all along Dassia and very narrow. Also Malibu had private beds at a cost of 24 euros on another stretch .

Добрый день! подскажите, а шезлонг у Икос отеля можно взять в аренду? если да, то сколько стоит, может быть знаете?
Written 5 September 2019

Staying at dassia beach hotel is there any supermarkets near by
Written 2 September 2019
Hi,
There are a few supermarkets and plenty of small shops. The biggest supermarket I found was opposite IKOS hotel and opposite that supermarket is the most delightful bakery which I highly recommended. Have fun.

Hi me and my girlfriend are going to dassia in Sept
Is there plenty of places that do a nice full English as we are self catering
Written 24 July 2019
Not plenty. Alex place only opens late and I can’t recommend any other places to eat. That side of things was a bit disappointing. If you get the bus to Corfu town I’m sure you will find plenty of places. 20-25 min away.

My wife has mobility difficulties ie. walks with a stick. Do you think she will manage Ikos Dassia beach?
Written 5 September 2018
Yes the Ikos dassia is pretty flat
They have solid tarmac stone surface so no loose wobbly flags .the beach is imported sand
So lovely the walk ways are wood boards .plus Ikos will take you everywhere in a golf buggy if you get tired .just ask a staff member and they will call 1 .the entrance to the sea is a little shingle but it’s so calm .pools have slope in so easy too

Mid October is extremely quiet, all bars along the seafront close, but still warm during the day but cooler at night ! Corfu Town busy as usual & open all year !! Great if you want a quiet break
