Did the 7 cascades with my family and was a great experience. Waterfalls itself were quite spectacular and the surrounding nature just made it even better. We booked a local guide - Jay (jaytannoo@yahoo.com), apparently a celebrity already at tripadvisor and for good reasons. Knowledgeable,...More

It's a beautiful spot in the nature with a lot of fresh water, also for swimming. But the path can be dangerous if you don't have a good guide to help you. We were lucky, we met Wesley in Tamarin and I can highly recommend...More

7 Cascades is a series of different waterfalls. Most photos don't do justice to the falls. I have been to many waterfalls in Thailand, Bali, Philippines, etc and this i think is my top rated one. I took a public bus there and found a...More

Quite amazing the mixtures of the soil colours. We visited when it was cloudy and did not get to see the Soil/ground different colours proper contrasts. Make sure you visit when there is enough sunlight. Visit the gift shop.

This was the best part about our trip to Mauritius. We had a great time swimming in the lagoons and the views were amazing. Our tour guide Freddie from Raj Travels was incredible and made the trip worth while.

Check the bad reviews and basically we felt the same. No directions for the walk means we saw guides asking 300r per cascades per person! The first one was 100m away thru a small path which was easy to reach if somebody had bothered to...More

We went on a short fairly steep walk to the top of the waterfall. This was my highlight of the trip to Mauritius. It was a sunny day and I relaxed with my feet in a pool and had a natural foot spa, with small...More

Most of tours have a bottom start, so I guess it's better from the bottom. You will be able to enjoy the top view at the end of climb .

I agree with Varsha479 we went down and then up and it gives you plenty of time to stop and admire and not to be so tired :)
