Amazing fortress with big play area to the rear of the fort. 4lv adults and 2lv children to enter the fort and ride the vehicular train which is really a lift. Stupidly the lift closes for lunch 12-1 so unless you want to walk down...More

It's a very nice place where you can see all around the area and there is a beautiful mountain view too. The historical part is quite nice.

Great BBQ and bar area at bottom of lift. Walking to the top is a killer but enjoyable. Worth going to the top for the views, museum and attractions in the fort are to modern and do not give the Roman feel.

Beautiful renovated fortress, holding a long Bulgarian history. Audio tour is available, but you have to ask for it at the ticket desk. Best on summer days, the fortress is up on a hill and could be windy. Be prepared to be amazed and bring...More
