If you're looking for a beach that's quiet but not totally secluded, Cupecoy is a good choice. Its white sands are backed by low sandstone cliffs that have been eroded in such a way that they provide a run of small semiprivate coves.

Quiet, secluded, natural beauty.

This is a small beach on the Dutch side by the French border. Part of it sits on a sandstone shelf with beautiful sandstone cliffs while the rest of the beach is soft, white sand... read more

We went out of our way to see this beach because of the rocky cliff backdrop and pseudo-monolith. It is a bit off the beaten path and you have to go down a fairly unnerving staircase to get there but it is well worth it! The tide was the strongest that I experienced on the island, but not enough to... More

This beach is a hidden gem (literally it is really hard to find), there is a tiny sign with free parking but you have to really look for it, this is located right across from the mall. It is a hike to get to, and there is a very rocky section. Great views though, maybe just a nice quick stop... More

A wonderful beach. Protected enough to have nice sand and perfectly clear water, Has a nice mix of locals and tourists, with simple bar restaurant services and good food. The snorkeling is great in the clear waters. Saw some divers heading out deeper and often had visits from tour boats giving their patrons the chance to snorkel and swim,

This is a small beach on the Dutch side by the French border. Part of it sits on a sandstone shelf with beautiful sandstone cliffs while the rest of the beach is soft, white sand. The beach varies in size depending on the tides. There are limited amenities but chairs & umbrellas can be rented for a small fee &... More

The property had several issues. There was algae around the jacuzzi and standing water on the pool deck which came from the leak in the jacuzzi. The leak to the jacuzzi was not repaired so we had to put hose in it to keep filling it up. The pump for the swimming pool was broken so by Wednesday, the water... More

Cupecoy Beach was amazing! It was a secluded beach with beautiful water and with very few people, but the people that were there with us on the same beach were all elderly and completely nude. Needless to say, our four teenage boys were somewhat surprised to experience such a sight. They handled it well considering this is not something you... More

We found this beach while driving around, there was a sign that said free parking and beach access so we gave it a shot. The beach is a good size and it was secluded, I think there were only 3 other people on the entire beach. The path that you need to walk down is a bit steep and rocky... More

If you like pristine sand and no crowds, this is the place for you. Located past Maho and Mullet Bay, I drove past the entrance area only catching a small sign out of the corner of my eye on the left side of the road. Turned around and found a secluded spot for parking almost at the sea's edge, We... More

Our 3 couples were spending a week driving around St. Martin. Cupecoy Bay was on our list because of our memorable visit 2 years ago. Again, we were not disappointed. The first challenge was finding the poorly-marked turn-off just north of the Ocean Club into an unpaved, rutted, patch of dirt that serves as a parking lot. This was close... More
