We have used Namibia Reservations for several years and never had any problems until 2019 when the contact we used changed from Milburches (who was always very helpful and our bookings were valid) to John Farmer. John amended our booking at Sossus Dune Lodge to say there was no longer availability. He then booked us into Dead Valley Lodge. We paid in full 6 months before. On arrival at the lodge, we were informed that they did not have a reservation for our group or received a payment for it. Luckily they had availability but we had to pay again to the hotel. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY, they steal your money.

I used NR for many years and they always provided a very reliable service... unfortunately between my visit in 2017 and 2019 it all went badly wrong. There must have been changes in the management structure and Alvin Farmer and Werner Beddies were corrupt and stealing your money basically. My tours there in summer 2019 were only saved by the intervention of the previous CEO who had just rejoined the company from what I can gather, though it still proved to be an administrative nitemare. Namibia is a country I have grown to jnow well..and love..it's people animals and landscapes. I will continue to visit. ..but NEVER use this company or those associated with it.

They stole our money. Never ever use this organization. We booked our whole holiday to the Caprivi this year. When we got to the lodge in Katima they said we weren't booked. Fortunately they had accommodation for us but we had to pay again. Namibia reservations promised to send our money back but they lie and don't do it. With such a strong name, NAMIBIA RESERVATIONS, one would think they run a proper honest and professional business. Mr Farmer is not an honest man

Lost in the Kalahari desert An adventure with Namibia Reservation Service (NRS) and Alvin Farmer In June 2018 we booked a 3-weeks trip through the Kalahari Desert with NRS. The trip was confirmed and fully paid in July 2018. Two days before leaving Germany we get a mail from Alvin Farmer (NRS) without further comments that they had to change the arrangements due to overbooking – the adventure begins Arriving at Mata-Mata, Sun Parks informed us that there is no booking at all. The original booking from 2018 was cancelled by Sun Parks due to no payment by NRS, a new booking does not exist. We had to book and to pay ourself. Fortunately it was possible. Arriving at Suricate Kalahari Lodge we found out that this place was rearranged to African Safari Lodge, about 100 km far away. The attempt to rebook again (there was a lot of vacancy) was refused by the manager Mrs. Otto. .. Who knows about their experiences with NRS. Arriving at Africa Safari Lodge we found out that the rearrangement is made more than 4 weeks ago. Why did we not get this information earlier ?? Back in Windhoek we went to NRS. Alvin Farmer apologized and promised to pay us a compensation for our trouble and costs.. and after more than two month and some reminders still nothing happens… My proposal: Be careful with NRS or expect an unforgettable adventure. Response from Namres, Manager at Namibia Reservations
Responded 13 Aug 2019
Sonnige Gruesse Mark Muecke

With Namibia Reservations we booked two nights at Third Bridge in Moremi in August 2018. We paid around US $ 500 for it. When we arrived at Xomae in Maun (who operaties the campsite) it appeared that Namibia Reservations made the reservation with them, but did not pay for it. In order to go to Third Bridge, we had to pay again. Back home we had contact with Namibia Reservations and they promised to pay us back many times but they never did. My advise: don’t book anything with Namibia Reservations. You will lose your money!!
