Interesting historical find

Stayed to the Keenora as feat of heights meant I didn't feel comfortable taking the bridge to the other ships. Fascinating stuff and very reasonably priced.

This is an interesting place to stop for a quick look at nautical history. The boat is a little rough and could use some attention but it is still a neat place to visit. Our boys really liked it and we are glad we went.

This place is enjoyable any time of the year. A fantastic place to have a picnic or bring out the family to look at the boats either from the outside or pay the small fee and get on board to see the inside as well. The paths and other walk ways by the water are very relaxing, clean and well... More

A real eye opener for persons from areas away from the Red River here in Manitoba. These boats/paddle wheelers look really large and it takes some imagination to visualize them plying the murky water of the Red River. An excursion worth taking to check out navigation history of the area. The museum has a "frightfully" good Hallowe'en tour---if you are... More

Definitely worth it to visit and go on a tour of the marine museum. Children will enjoy being on the various ships.

For an in-land marine museum it is excellent. Sad to see the "Queen" of Lake Winnipeg being taken apart as the trips up the lake were excellent

What an experience to walk around the history of these ships, and see what life was like in the past for those who lived on the water.

We were on our way to Lockport late one Sun afternoon in July when my brother decided to head further northeast to Selkirk for a quick sightseeing stop at the Marine Museum of Manitoba. This museum, located right at the entrance to Selkirk Park, is made up of 6 retired ships with historical ties to Lake Winnipeg and Red River.... More
