I joined 11 other folks on this tour of Manuel Antonio Park. This is one of the tours that originates in Jaco, so I was able to get picked up in Esterillos Oueste. We stopped at a little bakery in Parrita where I got a delicious spicy and savory arreglada and some coffee. The guide let us know our lunch choices and put in the order ahead of time so the meal was ready when we arrived at the restaurant in Quepos after the park tour. The walk in the park followed the main path to the beach. We walked slowly and our guide expertly picked out multiple flora and fauna. He took photos through the scope and shared them with us after. We saw all the usuals. At the beach we had an hour to swim or walk around. **Notes about the park: Lunch wasnāt until 2 (no food allowed in the park ), so plan accordingly. I would have eaten two arregladas! Even if you have been traveling with and reusing the same plastic water bottle for two weeks, if it is of the sort that can be bought already containing water, it is not allowed in the park. You will have to buy an expensive, cheaply made plastic or metal bottle just outside the entrance, which the vendor will fill from plastic disposable water bottles. Lol.
