Yurico's class was perfect: she is a delightful hostess, a wonderful chef, and a patient teacher, especially with a child whose ambition exceeded his attention span.
I also did a calligraphy class at the end - I found it was a great way to unwind after the cooking (almost meditative) and gave a great insight into Japanese culture.

The class was entertaining and the teachers, while taking the art seriously, also have a sense of humor and fun about what they are doing that makes something that could be intimidating accessible and interesting.
