We have 2 teenage girls and one 9 yr old and they loved this tour. Guide was friendly and informative, tour lasted 1 hr 30 mins.
There is 2 restaurants in the village that if you show your entrance tickets you can get a discount on your meal as well. Great way to spend half a day 😊

We had a great time , the guide was really good with us always taking the time to explain in detail all about the mine and its history.

You might think its not for you? We all had a great time, I would suggest you pay it a visit.
Its only open a certain times so you may want to have a drive up first and check the times etc
We went into the mine for a walk round the tunnels on the first level I think and then all the way to the top of the pulley wheel tower further up the hill, great view from the top !

We were 3 couples staying here and it was magnificent! The tower and its gardens where perfect for our time, relaxing in the sun, opening a few bottles of vino frizzante next to the bbq and as a base for exploring Tuscany.
The owners where exceptionally accommodating and offered true valuable advice for local tourism or also they where exceptional for a good conversation in the piazza over coffee, wine, aperol spritz. We often retell our fond memories of them and the tower and will visit again most certainly.

The village is small, charming and accommodating and we had some good nights in the local restaurants when we didn't want to go to far from the Torre. If you are with a family or friends, I highly recommend this stay if you are looking for quality and authenticity from your visit to Tuscany. This charming location will leave memories that your senses will forever hold and can't even compare to the 5 star hotels in other cities such as Sienna.

We scrolled around few wineries in Tuscany but there was great experience ! Host was great to talk throw their productions. Myself knowing quite a lot about wines, was great to interact while tasting their great wines. All their range is fantastic and you can't go wrong to buy any from light but zingy to reserve. Location is unique as their wines but worth the detour.
    Highly recommended !
