Enjoyed this great well organised tour, especially the opportunity to watch this many wild sea eagles feeding was really impressive, meetup with friendly monkey families and then have a cooling swim at a beautiful beach at the end of the trip.

I had a good time kayaking in the mangrove forest. Spotted several types of unique birds, lizards and snakes very close in its natural habitat. It feels so peaceful and surreal navigating through the mangrove alleys. The journey was inspiring as the guide took their time to share his knowledge about the mangrove ecosystem thus making us immersed with nature. Very well planned tour :)

It was well worth the visit, with a 20 minute stop at a beach accessible only by boat. It was depressing though to see the waste such as pastic bottles and detritus left by other visitors, as well as flotsam. the veiegation above the level of the mangroves was depressingly stressed by the lack of water (no rain since October) - global warming? The Sea Eagles performed for us and we met the monkeys and visited the bat cave; the lunch provided was simple but what one needed. The lack of obvious bird activity may have been a function of the time of day or perhaps the very arid conditions. The fish ecosystems seemed however to be teaming. Be prepared to pay to use the loos shoreside.

20 September 2022. The trip started from Teluk Baru Jetty. On our boat were 13 people including the boat driver. All Malaysians except 2 Australian teachers from Melbourne.

Boat departed jetty enroute to Pulau Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maid Island). From the jetty, it was a 10-minute walk to the lake for water-based sports activities and swimming. Entrance fee applied. We were there for 1 hour to kayak and swim.

From there, the boat was taken to Pulau Singa Besar (Big Lion Island) to watch eagle feeding. Boat driver tossed a bucket of chicken skins into the water and the eagles went on a feeding frenzy diving upon the chicken skins floating on the water.

The boat then proceeded to Pulau Beras Basah (Wet Rice Island) where we spent 1 hour swimming in the sea.

Then back to Jetty Teluk Baru.

We were picked up on time at the cruise port by our friendly guide who couldn’t do enough for us. He tailored the tour to our needs and kindly explained much of the culture and history of the island as he showed us around. We visited the skywalk and cable car in the morning and the mangrove forest in the afternoon, passing many beautiful sights along the way. The mangrove tour cost extra but was well worth it as it was very beautiful. We could have stopped off at the beach too if we wished. Overall it was an excellent relaxing day with a fantastic guide, would definitely recommend this tour.

It was an amazing tour!! We had the best guide as well, his name is Zack, he made this an unforgettable experience and we couldn't have asked for more! He is extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable, we've felt safe and taken care of the whole time. We've learnt so much about the flora and fauna of Langkawi as well. Best tour we've had in Malaysia so far. Thank you!

The boat ride was splendid, with spectacular views of the Langkawi island s all around 🚤

They take you out to a fish farm, which is interesting too!

A fabulous experience . Also has an oriental village below with food court and shops .
We didn’t know that there was a tram ride required to take you up to the bridge which you needed to purchase tickets for separately , this was a long queue and not disabled friendly.
You can walk to the bridge after the cable car but be prepared for a downward climb of a lot of uneven steps and only one side to hold on even though there are people coming towards you too . Anyone who has mobility problems be aware . We were fortunate that it was a quieter time in general , views and experience well worth it .

Had a great time in Kilim Geopark, Azri was a excellent and knowledgable host. The kayak tour was just the right level of effort and we were able to see the eagles and a number of other animals.

They picked me up at the airport, then we went around for 6 hours, touring the a good chunk of the island, then they dropped me off at the hotel. Lim, the driver, was knowledge about the island, and even took me to a great local Malay restaurant for lunch. If you absolutely want to do everything in the list, then you might book 2 x 6 hours tour.

We were on a cruise and docked at Langkawi for the day. Our tour guide was Karmel and he was reliable and punctual, with our names on show for pick up. We did have to walk the length of the pier and go to the World Resort Hotel entrance to be picked up. The day was interesting and the minibus was comfortable.

Our group of 6 people had the pleasure of organising a private tour with Sam Lim of SLC Langkawi during our recent Asian cruise on the Diamond Princess.
In this tour we did a 2 hour Mangrove tour where we saw both eagles that Langawi Island is renown for and had lunch at the Jumbo Seafood restaurant whilst on the Mangrove river tour. We also enjoyed a cable car and skybridge tour, and finished by visiting Eagle Square where the huge red eagle monument is before being returned to the ship.
The tour was excellently guided by Sam Lim in an air conditioned van and professionally run and highly recommended.
We all had an enjoyable and full on day much appreciated Sam.
