    Great Tour in the Kilim Geoforest Park
    Absolutely great tour. The guide was explaining everything in english, we learned some new stuff, we saw everything what was promised (and even a little more than that). Everything was organized really good, from the pick up at the hotel, to the boat tour itself, back to the hotel. No issues. Just a great time!

    Highlight of our trip to Langkawi
    We visited a bat cave before spending a couple of hours kayaking in the mangroves. Our guides were good at pointing wildlife (big and small) and sharing information about them and the fauna. You can tell that the guides have a lot of love and respect for the Geopark and want to play in preserving it. Definitely a fun and informative tour, highly recommended for nature lovers.

    The kayaking wasn’t hard as we were going with the current within the mangroves. Lunch was yummy too. My kids happily ate everything.

    Scenic Fun Ride Island Hopping
    20 September 2022. The trip started from Teluk Baru Jetty. On our boat were 13 people including the boat driver. All Malaysians except 2 Australian teachers from Melbourne.

    Boat departed jetty enroute to Pulau Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maid Island). From the jetty, it was a 10-minute walk to the lake for water-based sports activities and swimming. Entrance fee applied. We were there for 1 hour to kayak and swim.

    From there, the boat was taken to Pulau Singa Besar (Big Lion Island) to watch eagle feeding. Boat driver tossed a bucket of chicken skins into the water and the eagles went on a feeding frenzy diving upon the chicken skins floating on the water.

    The boat then proceeded to Pulau Beras Basah (Wet Rice Island) where we spent 1 hour swimming in the sea.

    Then back to Jetty Teluk Baru.

    Private Tour for Family Vacation with Children and Elderly
    We had an annual big family vacation (26pax) with 12 children below 12yo and parents at 70s++ during school holiday. Our tour during 4 days and 3 nights stay is handled Pak Abu Popular Langkawi ( +60 12-365 9345 ) . We are assisted by 3 vans for transportation and guided tour to Mangrove Kilim Geoforest Park (boat tour visiting bat caves , crocodile caves, Andaman ocean , eagle watching floating boat restaurant ) , Cable Car, MAHA Tower, Eagle Square and many others.

    The service is highly recommended and we are very satisfied. Pak Abu managed to cater big family with children needs during the tour. Flexibility with schedule during the tour is a scoring point. The local food recommended were fantastic . We had a great family gathering.

    Nature Lover's Paradise Not To Be Missed
    If you are a nature lover and passionate about the environment, then pack your bags, head to Pulau Langkawi and book yourself a Kilim Geoforest and Mangrove Tour. Advisable to bring along a poncho or waterproof jacket/windbreaker just in case it rains. Wear comfortable outfits as you will be getting in and out of the boat a few times.

    Awesome experience, but pay extra for the private boat
    An awesome day. Be warned, it goes much longer than the time advertised. (We had to come back early because of another tour eveb thought we planned a two hour gao between activities. The page advertises 4 hours, it was closer to six for us. Definitely not a bad thing but good to keep in mind for planning.)

    We booked a shared tour and managed to go to some cool bat caves, monkeys, fish farm and swim on a mostly secluded beach at the end. The tour was varied, allowing you to experience many different things.

    The staff were awesome and helpful, even taking us back a little early while everyone else was having lunch so we wouldn't miss our next activity. Very friendly.

    The only thing I would advise anyone thinking of booking: go for the private tour. We went on a shared tour with three full boats which mostly worked fine, but some sections like the bat caves are a bit too crowded.

    Venosha was just wonderful, having great knowledge and commutative skills, we soon ticked off over 40 species.

    Very reliable.
    We were on a cruise and docked at Langkawi for the day. Our tour guide was Karmel and he was reliable and punctual, with our names on show for pick up. We did have to walk the length of the pier and go to the World Resort Hotel entrance to be picked up. The day was interesting and the minibus was comfortable.

    Forget yourself in the lap of mother nature- a must do tour
    Just one word : Peaceful.

    Review- We took a full day mangrove tour in sharing. It's fun that other people join you and enjoy each others company. The tour guide was from HBS company and he was really nice.
    The tour started near to Tanjung Rhu village jetty and ended in Tanjung Rhu beach. We started at 10:15am and activities included are as below:

    1. Fish feeding. The boat guide took us to this fish feeding area after all the way island cruising which was very exciting. Sea and small green islands make such a beauty. Feast for eyes :)

    2. crocodile cave- Due to high tides the boat didn't go inside but we enjoyed the beauty from outside. And also there's no crocodile just the shape of cave is like a giant crocodile.

    3. Monkey Feeding - Met cute monkeys and their family living on the mangrove trees. For food they swim and few monkeys even came to our boat which we enjoyed a lot.

    4. Cruising all way to the river we reached to Eagle feeding area. There were two groups of eagle one in brown color and one with white and black color wings. ohh they are beauty.

    5. Stopped at some floating restaurant where we saw some different kinds of fish and had snacks.

    6. next stop was bat cave. It was again a nice experience... although this is small than Batu caves of KL but yes indeed it was also beautiful.

    7. came back to floating restaurant and had lunch. Good for seafood not for vegetarians. Only rice and juice for veg people.

    8. They took us to sea cruising and it was really fun.Finally arrived at Tanjung Rhu beach. Enjoyed for some time and here the trip ends at 3:30PM . Driver will pick you back to hotel.

    some important points:

    1. Sharing full day tour ticket is of RM 90 which includes pickup and drop from hotel.
    2. You can opt for half day tour too which cost RM60 but I would suggest to take full day tour which takes around 4-5 hours.
    3. You can book the tours from Airport itself... keeping prices in mind. you might bargain a little... All on you luck.

    It sure is Flexible!
    They picked me up at the airport, then we went around for 6 hours, touring the a good chunk of the island, then they dropped me off at the hotel. Lim, the driver, was knowledge about the island, and even took me to a great local Malay restaurant for lunch. If you absolutely want to do everything in the list, then you might book 2 x 6 hours tour.

    We paid for 4 hours, received only 2 hours
    As it was described, the tour will take 4 hours. When we arrived, they said that the tour will be only 2 hours. It was disappointing.
    Overall, the tour was interesting, captain friendly, nature amazing.
