The story of the temple and it’s snakes was intriguing. The snakes on the picture frames did not look real/live. I think the only live snakes were in enclosed containers - this was probably deliberate for, obvious, safety reasons.
The gentleman who operated the convenience store at the entrance to the temple was very helpful. After that, the 2nd time I went was 10 years ago. My review is for the most recent visit which was just a few days ago.
I was pleased with the recent visit because they have expanded this aquarium to have more fish tanks which are designed well (except for the fact that some tanks are too high for toddlers to see). The ticket prices are really cheap and you can easily spend a happy hour with your family. While you won't get the expensive crowd-pleasers like seals, dolphins and sharks, there's enough attractive fish and turtles and the whole area is pleasing enough.

Took a picture of the schedule for the pool so I can time my visit next time. There is also a badminton court and a gym. Our time here passed very comfortable with Melvin at the check in counter, serving and checking every couple of minutes to ask if we needed anything else... this never happened at KLIA and I am very pleased that he took the extra mile to do so.
Food is great although because of the COVID period the buffet has been replaced with an order method. Even so, the Hainanese Chicken Rice is still the signature menu for the Penang Lounge. Probably the only irk is the missing pastries that i miss so much at the Plaza Premium Lounge. The index 1 (think it was hole 3) looked like a speck to aim at but overall, the course was reasonably well-maintained with fast greens and raked bunkers. The clubhouse does not look great and is showing its age. The caddie lost one of our club head covers and was unable to find it.
