- ChatsumanKolkata (Calcutta), India21 contributionsWe stayed in Debrigarh Nature Retreat which is inside the buffer area of the forest. The journey to and from the Retreat to the gate of the sanctuary is so rewarding. We got to see each and every animal, except Python during our journey to and from the gate to the Retreat.
The retreat is itself a magnificent place of stay. We booked the best rooms that had a star-gazing facility while sleeping. The rooms are very spacious and really nice.
The food of the place is not so tasty as in other places of Odisha and I was not really happy with the food, except breakfast which was really nice.

Maa Ghanteshwari Temple is situated near city of Sambalpur on the bank of Mahanadi River. As the name suggests there are bells everywhere. People offer bells to the goddess Ghanteswari or the Deity of Bells, after fulfillment of their wishes. This area being the conglomeration of three streams of water of river Mahanadi, the water current here is very trechorous forming a whirlpool. Due to this many boats were drowned while nearing this spot. Here the wind blows quite heavily and with the help of it the bells were producing sound. Now after the construction of Hirakud dam, this spot became safer.Written 7 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KHAGENDRANATH JKolkata (Calcutta), India370 contributionsThis is a Shiva temple situated at the top of the hill popularly known as Budharaja. This place is a must see for everyone coming for the first time to Sambalpur, the town situated in the western district of Sambalpur in Odisha.. You can reach the temple at hill top by car. But the journey to the temple by foot is thrilling and enjoyable. The surroundings of the temple is not very clean. The authority should be careful about this.Written 31 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Trishala N2 contributionsFirstly, I want to correct the fact that this waterfall is actually named as KULADERA and not Deul dhara. I can say that this place is unexplored and untouched and is a natured Marvel. Just loved the place.
