What travellers are saying
- McDaniel HFlower Mound, TX1,313 contributionsI booked a reservation for this location with the Renaissance Wind Creek. I booked the largest ecabana at the end of the cabana row to celebrate with my wife and our anniversary here. We enjoyed the service with Elizabeth, Ludwig, and Lindo. Elizabeth helped us to locate and get acquainted with the location in the morning; loot wig was the server for most of the morning into the late noon hour; Lindo took over for Ludwig after the noon transfer of responsibility. Lindo also did an excellent job taking care of our needs while in the cabana. While we were there, we found out that one of the flamingo females is currently sitting on an egg!! She stood for a few minutes and I saw and photographed the mommy standing above the egg. We went to the Okenos Spa cabana for a massage while on the island. We were met at the entry area by the massage therapist named Diana. We later learned that both of them were named Diana. Both of the massage therapists were efficient and capable while performing their job. There was an issue with people just bypassing the "Private Area"signs and walking into the cabana!!! Would you just walk into someone's hotel room if the door was open? Why do people think it's okay to invade this rental space like so many did while I was there with my spouse enjoying our rental cabana?Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Shawn MWaterdown, Canada73 contributionsHad a great visit to the Aloe Factory with the family. The tour was entertaining and informative. And of course, the after sun care came in very useful after a few days in the Aruban sun 🌞.Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Debbie MMichigan89 contributionsThis was such a lovely outing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Butterfly Farm is super relaxing - it provided a time of quiet reflection during a very busy vacation schedule. The butterflies, of course, are beautiful. The Farm is extremely well-run, with knowledgeable and friendly guides. Don't forget to put in a quarter into the fish food dispensing machine so you can feed the Koi!! And the coffee shop serves amazing bakery, sandwiches, and beverages.Written 4 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MGoBlue99Atlanta, GA546 contributionsWe did a full day excursion here, and had an enjoyable experience.
Some tips:
- Try to get there as early as you can, and hop in the Flamingo line. That line can get pretty long.
- Also get in the line for the banana boat rides. That was really fun, but also gets long lines.
- This is a cruise excursion for some cruise lines. Thankfully, there was no cruise ship docked on the day when we went, so the island never felt crowded. I would try to find out when the cruises are there, and avoid those days!
The slides are really fun, and the kids in our group loved them. There is a fun kiddie pool, but keep in mind there is no adult pool.
The food was mediocre. It's basically a beach BBQ with chicken, fish, pasta, salad, and a bunch of side dishes. Drinks were good though.
We all got sticker shock from the prices. Close to $125 per adult and $95 per kid is definitely steep. However, many of the kids in our group said this park was their favorite part of the Aruba vacation. So it ended up being worth it for us.Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - carferScotland, UK120 contributionsClean, easy and free to park, not at all crowded, there are trees and shrubs in areas to find shade.Written 4 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Angela12 contributionsWe came in June and the weather was amazing. Of course there is always a breeze here. It really is the Happy Island. Everyone is so nice and appreciative of your visit. Customer service is great here overall. The beach and island is very clean. We’ve been to Aruba 3 times and will definitely be back again. The sand is not hot and the water is beautiful. Lots to do in the area and excellent restaurants too.Written 15 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Adam MLondon, UK9 contributionsStunning landscape and natural pool. Excellent for snorkelling as the fish get really close. Make sure you take good footwear as it’s very slippery and rocky.Written 21 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PavettiColorado Springs, CO86 contributionsThis is a great little stop with a short trail up excellent views. This will be a 30 to 45 minute stop. You will need a car to access this site.Written 27 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Shawn MWaterdown, Canada73 contributionsNot a huge beach but easy access to the water and the coral is a short swim off shore. In fact, the snorkel cruises are right on the other side of the swimmers area. We were able to see sea urchins, star fish, coral, and all sorts of tropical fish up closeWritten 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nikki4765California129 contributionsWe enjoyed seeing this wreck with Mermaid Dive Center. The water temperature was good and the current no so much.Written 6 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ben HDade City, FL449 contributionsI decided to go to Hooiberg hill for a morning run one day while on vacation while in Aruba. The hill has around 600 concrete steps to get to the top and it was challenging for this Florida flat land runner but definitely worth the run to the top. The view from the peak offers a 360 degree view of the island and with good weather you can see quite the distance. I would recommend if your looking for a good place to work out or to take your time to get to the top to enjoy the views.Written 14 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David SMiddlesbrough, UK1,396 contributionsMy wife and I took in a visit to the rock as part of an island tour and enjoyed the short stop off. Our tour guide provided an interesting insight into this natural wonder. Strange experience ascending to top and admiring the view. Very windy and quite difficult to navigate. Interesting experience nevertheless.Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- teknoge3kRocky Mount, VA1,204 contributionsThis is a great way to see the desert in Aruba. It's $5 a person to climb to the top. It's worth the climb though since the views are incredible!Written 10 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ashley FChatham, MA3 contributionsMy family and I stumbled across this when we rented a car to explore the island. It’s $10 per person but it was well worth it! It took over an hour to explore and see all of the animals and we had so much fun feeding all the 4 legged friends.Written 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mike5 contributionsJust came back from Aruba and I have to say I’m so glad that we went to check out baby beach! Very small but could be the most beautiful water I have ever seen! Very small so not a lot of room but worth the trip!!Written 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
