What travellers are saying
- Explore177865571735 contributionsWe booked our trip in advance through the travel agent we were using . We were staying in Montego Bay but whist traveling from there is not an issue for us , for some people it may well be due to travelling and road conditions.
Our two guides at the falls where great , Romani like the lettuce and Lucy ( nick name )safety was first .
My partner is not a confident swimming and the general support these guys gave in just checking that she could traverse through the water, not even jumping, was fist class .Often, conveying a safety message can appear dull, but these guys gave the message and where all over ensuring everyone had a good and safe time .
There had been rain, and the river was running strong but water was still turquose.
It was interesting to note that other operators let people enter areas , climb down the fast flowing falls that both these guys thought was unsafe, and thankfully they did not allow this to happen
Both these guys made our experience in Jamaica fantastic , enjoyable and safe so thank you .Written 15 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We learned how they cook with them along with the medicinal benefits.
The park also had many beautiful birds, reptiles and farm animala. The grounds and landscape were beautiful and everything is impeccibly kept. The falls cascaded down and you can climb up the falls on different levels and also swim in various pool areas. There is also a small museum that was a great touch along with a bar and grill. We were therw about 1.5 hours on a tour and wish we had a little more time. We had such a wonderful time..thank you Winston
We also took pictures with a birds and Iguanas, the handlers were awesone too! It was clean I didn’t see any rubbish around.
You have to pay to enter the beach
200 Jamaican dollars per adult
100 Jamaican dollar per child
750 Jamaican dollar per sunbed
750 Jamaican dollar per umbrella
They should have done a deal for bed and umbrella together.
I didn’t mind paying the entrance fee because it means not everyone is on the beach as people who don’t want to or can’t pay can’t come on the beach.
There is plenty of areas to swim within the floating balls if you go outside the balls you risk being hit by water sports.
They also had lifeguards who were actually doing their jobs and watching the water occasionally whistling if needed.
You’re not allowed playing /footballs in the water.
A man from across the road I think from sandles hotel comes and asks if you would like any food.
We ordered burger and fries 750 Jamaican dollar and fries 500 Jamaican dollar the man was nice and not pushy.
Water was very nice and you can see fish / sea urchins under the water if you have googles.Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water was cool and refreshing, very clean, fun tubing with some small rapid areas and a lot of lazy areas where you could float and swim. Nice scenery, lots of huge bamboo stands, some beverage stands throughout the river trip where you could get local drinks and refreshments. Very relaxing, the whole family loved it, highly recommend, good way to spend a couple of hours in the Jamaican high country!Written 19 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Collette848Shoreline, WA9 contributionsIt’s a bit of an adventure to get to the farm but once there, it’s sooo peaceful and relaxing. We had the place a bit to ourselves which was also nice as we visited via a cruise. Tour was informative and interesting and the included lunch was absolutely delicious. The staff were great and our family had a wonderful time.Written 21 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Holly2144Auburn Hills, MI64 contributionsMy family and I really enjoyed the excursion. The natural beauty of Jamaica is just absolute paradise and the natural “jacuzzi” was just what my body needed! We spent less than 2 hours there but it was a memorable experience and the highlight of our trip.Written 19 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mandy16 contributionsA cute drive up Fern Gully as we had rented a car. Right at the top there's a view point with a bar, which we accidentally across. Beautiful views of lush greens. Be careful of you do step out though, it's a prime spot to be motten by mosquitos. We drove back through it to get to the main town but it was just as lovely and mesmerising.Written 17 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ashton D67 contributionsLittle Dunn's was awesome. As far as I can tell it's still only open on the weekends (we went on a Sunday). There's a nominal fee to get in ($200 JMD/person). You can probably get here with a route taxi from Ochi but we didn't know enough at the time to figure out which car to get into so we ended up in a private charter.Written 17 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
