- carolJohnsonxxLondon, UK142 contributionsFabulous scenery lovely walk to the signage . Very steep in places . It might have been better to get the buggy as it was great going but heavily rained on the way back . My only complaint is the cafe the food was cold and pretty disgusting I asked for my money back as after waiting 20 mins for burger and chips to come it arrived cold . If no one complains they will carry on serving below standard foodWritten 10 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Curiosity574688101581 contributionTrail no 10 entrance have changed due to construction. No longer passed through Tan's Camellia Garden. The entrance now is at Jalan Jasar. Do not pass through Convent School at the left. It should be Jalan Jasar at the right .Written 11 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- wrijughoshBengaluru, India26 contributionsOne of the cleanest and serene places. We enjoyed a lot. We were staying at Camerin Hughland Resorts. A very Anglo vintage place, which is very well maintained and clean. We loved our stay. We did do the general visits like the tea gardens, sheep feeding, Flower Gardens etc. It was really very busy over the weekend though. But worth the visit.Written 15 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Keith LSingapore, Singapore372 contributionsThis is good for families with children. It has 2 restaurants, one for western and local food and another japanese restaurant. Food was quite good.
It has also areas for children to feed small animals(goats, rabbits, ducks, chickens).
There is also a small pond for children paddle boats.Written 20 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lucas VTemse, Belgium40 contributionsStarting at the Smokhouse Hotel alongside the golfcourse. Follow trail 3. Maps.me shows the route very well indeed. We heard trail 7 would be quite hard to go down with a lot of plants hiding the path. So we took trail 8 all the way down. Without any problem. But I guess in rainy weather conditions may be more difficult!!!Written 11 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LidyaYWTBatam, Indonesia21 contributionsA small path surrounded by different flowers, trees and vines, which gave a very pleasant feeling. It's like walking among a maintained mini forest. A short but enjoyable visit.Written 10 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Odyssey548208037721 contributionWe went by trail 10 and then left to the trail 6. On the plus, the trail 10 through the forest is nice and the views on the plantations and tea plantation at the end is very nice. Downsides: The alternative/shortcut to trail 10 is now also starting to get blocked. There is a sign now to get behind the fence and someone pointed us to go to the top where the uphill track starts. The entrance to trail 6 is now “blocked” by red-white tape, but of course you can easily go underneath it. It is slippery in some parts, around 3 time there is a distinct drop from the not that wide path, so you have to be careful. We started the track in the morning not to do it in the rain forecasted for the afternoon. When you get to the road from the first vegetable plantation, turn right (on maps me it was no longer market as trail 6) and you will reach a path on the left through a tea plantation. There is a sign with 4 RM payment that will be collected at the end ( maybe you can reach the road some other way than the tea house at the end). Be careful! At this path the will be a small concrete platform with a roof, there is a hornet’s nest there. On All trails I sow that many people were stung by them. I would try to leap by the streak to the tea plants and move around them to walk in a safe distance from this platform. They are aggressive and took them 3 sec to attack us, it good we were warned and quickly realised what was happening but we did get stung anywhay.Written 19 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KamelmatPerth, Australia104 contributionsThe pathway from the road to the falls takes about fifteen minutes. In places the path is uneven or been lost in a landslide many years ago, other than that, the path is easy to walk on. I completed the journey without taking any water and I think most people won’’t find a need for it. The falls are lovely but what broke my heart was the volume of rubbish stuck in and about the river. I cannot understand why the local government doesn’t employ the locals to clean up their mess to enhance this tourist spot.Written 9 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Emma ASheffield, UK91 contributionsIt's an easy short walk down to Robinson falls which are well worth seeing. We then did walk 9a which wasn't easy. It is an easy trail to follow but parts of it are challenging due to a lot of fallen trees and overgrown plants. There are a lot of insects and spiders as should be expected in the jungle. There aren't any views along the way. It brings you out to a farm and power station and the path does get tougher towards the end. We walked back along path 9b which is steep but much shorter and an easier path to follow. I think coming down it would be difficult due to how steep it was in parts but going up it was fine. We didn't have any problems with dogs as mentioned previously. We did see a man with one little dog at one point but they were not bothered by us at all so hopefully this isn't a problem anymore! Overall the loop took us about 2.5-3 hours. I like nice views so this walk wasn't for me!Written 31 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
