- podrozniczka60New Jersey16,597 contributionsAll art lovers should visit this place. Known for its biennale the building houses now interesting exhibitions. Some of the artists have their work also featured in other boutiques in town. The building is situated waterfront, a pleasant Dutch colonial architecture.Written 18 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Arwind JBoblingen, Germany6 contributionsRaigon is an amazing person and very interested and helpful. He has loads of ideas and plans for the future of his ventures and museum. I spent 2 hours with him whilst he showed me tons of pictures from the past of Ft Kochi. The museum still needs some work but gathering from the loads of artefacts he has collected, it is going to be very unique. Best to visit either before or after a short spell at the adjacent Restaurant Warehouse.Written 20 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sunshine19749824358Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), India2 contributionsThe Crafters stores, five in number, spread across Jew Town, are a must visit for those interested in antiques and collectables. We had a lovely time looking at the artefacts and Paul, from the family who owns the business, answered our queries patiently. We ended up purchasing a beautifully crafted solid teak wood chest of drawers from their furniture store. The service was superlative from receiving us at the store to transporting and delivering the item to our home, 200km away. The chest was neatly polished according to our requirements, carefully packed and delivered in perfect condition. I highly recommend these stores to any visitor in Jew Town.Written 27 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert ORotterdam, The Netherlands5,838 contributionsThere is a stretch of sandy beach here when the tide is low, but otherwise the sea reaches the promenade. Fishermen move into the water to put their nets into the side current. Sometimes they land their boats here.
The view across the estuary is interesting as big containerships , but also smaller vessels sail by to reach the sea or the docks of Ernakulam. Most of the time there are tourists walking on the promenade (mind your step) and hawkers selling stuff.
The city authorities do make an effort to keep the area clean. Early mornings workers are collecting garbage. Morning time is also the best time to visit. The earlier, the more quiet and peaceful.Written 7 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nick JHong Kong, China158 contributionsVery informative couple of hours with Meera in her family kitchen. We cooked 5 dishes, Thoran Curry, Vegatable Roast, Chicken Masaka, Dal Fry and Coconut Rice.
Meera explained everything in detail with enough time to take notes and videos.
After the cooking we had the dishes for lunch. All were very tasty.Written 21 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I recently had a yoga class with Nithin and it was truly amazing. His guidance was clear and patient, challenging yet relaxing. I left feeling centered and refreshed. The gallery directors Sathya and Geetha Sai don't appear to have any business sense they never answer international phone calls or e-mails. They also don't appear to have much knowledge of the contemporary art scene. They also don't seem to value the safety of woman in their gallery or respect foreign woman. They are currently holding an exhibition for Indian art critic Manoj Nair , but they not include the artists whose work he admired.Written 28 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
