- greeneyes630Maugansville, MD687 contributionsWe bought tickets for the evening light show. We were given the opportunity to walk around the Cathedral before and after the show. The light show was okay. I don’t think there is more the choreographers could do. Husband hated the lasers. I just love the church and artifacts. It’s a beautiful church.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Lang ALincoln, NE3 contributionsMy wife and I and another couple went in December to experience the European-like Christmas Markets and had a wonderful time. Old Quebec City is almost like being in France. Friendly people and delicious food.Written 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tdsuperstarToronto, Canada18,565 contributionsThere’s been so much said about The Butchart Gardens, so it’s difficult to add to the discourse on the most popular thing to do on Vancouver Island. That said, the important things for me to take out of the day, is that you really should give the Gardens a solid three hours. You can easily do more. With the unusually cold winter, the blooms were not as present this week when I went. Even still, I enjoyed the whole three plus hours. Taking public transit there from downtown is easy, so I definitely recommend that if you are not driving. My favourite garden was the Japanese Garden followed closely by the Sunken Garden. I know I can’t wait to visit again, hopefully sooner than later!!Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FoodNFashionMontreal, Canada8 contributionsOld Port Montreal is such a lovely place to be; you can find some of the best restaurants that Montreal has to offer. They also have tonnes of activities during the day and night; you will never be bored.Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew W2 contributionsNever a dull moment and always a great view to soak in and an experience never to forget. Before leaving Montreal don't forget to stop by here at least for 30 mins. It's such a great viewWritten 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FortyForkFunOakville, Canada23 contributionsVisiting the Riley’s Aquarium in Toronto with my family on a Sunday was an enjoyable experience. Despite it being a weekend, the crowds were manageable. The Sharks zone particularly stood out as our favorite part, with sharks and a sea turtle swimming right above our heads, creating a special moment. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience for both kids.
The stingray display was indeed impressive. It featured a good number of stingrays, and our children thoroughly enjoyed observing and interacting with them.
The jellyfish wall was mesmerizing, especially with its translucent colors. It was a captivating sight to watch.
The playground area may not be extravagant, but my 7-year-old still found enjoyment there. Despite its modest size, it's well-maintained.
The cleanliness of the washrooms was commendable, although there was a lingering smell of urine despite the presence of cleaning staff, and the Dyson dryers were out of order.
While the Aquarium does offer some food options, I would suggest bringing your own snacks and water bottles, as the snack area lacks ventilation and offers limited food choices. It’s advisable to eat before or after your visit to avoid discomfort.
In terms of transportation, if you're close to a Go train station, simply taking the train is convenient, with the Union stop being a short 5-minute walk away. This makes getting to the Aquarium hassle-free.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I would highly recommend coming on an empty stomach to enjoy some of the wonderful food vendors. Loads of options from the freshest sushi and bento boxes, to Portuguese, fresh baked bagels, hand made pasta/lasagna/pizza, briskets, peameal bacon on a bun and much much more. Oh and lots of delicious baked goods too all at great prices. There were also some really nice vendors selling a variety of merchandise. If you are eating there (which I think is an absolute must), there is indoor seating in lower level and main floor and also some picnic tables and chairs outside.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
