Beautiful spot and views of the ocean and shoreline (including Signal Hill), lighthouse is superb and the Icebergs nearby were a bonus, awesome on sight staff and lots of information.

Drop by the Quidi Vidi Brewery, have a meal at the amazing Mallard Cottage and hike the trail up towards Signal Hill to get great views.

Strenuous hike but amazing view!
It is a tragic site, but largely left alone due to the limited access to the hilltop - I have visited the site many times, but now find the climb a bit too strenuous.
