What travellers are saying
- C PParadise Point, Australia82 contributionsWent for lunch while touring the area. No reservation but didn't have to wait long to get a table. Beautiful gardens and views over the valley. We shared a generous charcuterie platter with wine. Great food, friendly staff and great service.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Katie MDarnley, Canada8 contributionsThe wine is absolutely divine, the customer service excellent but what impressed us the most was the FOOD! We were surprised to find such elevated, gorgeously thoughtful sandwiches and salads. They have many other things on the menu we can’t wait to try but just know that the chef makes most everything in house and it really shows!!! Loved our day here!Written 14 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AK8397Ontario, Canada1,050 contributionsWe usually stop here for a visit when we are traveling through Wolfville. It's an oasis of calm. There's a peaceful library, interesting greenhouses, and even a small gift shop. But the best part is to wander through the gardens, woods and trails in the back. It is all very well maintained, with good signage to explain the plants, trees and flowers. This visit, we were there in autumn which is a great time to admire the brilliant colours of the bushes and trees. Very nice!Written 20 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ResourceressMassachusetts226 contributionsVisited on a rainy morning and really enjoyed the indoor market with a nice selection of local crafts , baked goods, and food. - Andrea SAustin, TX201 contributionsThis winery is lovely. Our wine steward, Ms. LeBlanc, was terrific. We tasted four wines. The apple ice wine was so incredibly delicious! I didn't care for the creamy version, but others in the group did. The other two wines were also good. The tasting room was spotlessly clean. A charcuterie board was set out for us and we were given appetizer plates. The cheeses were excellent. The shop even sells small bottles (test tube shaped) that meet TSA requirements for carry-on. I was disappointed they were sold out of these small bottles in the apple ice wine. (But that it very good for them.) I wish we had had time to have lunch in the restaurant there. I would give 5 stars, but the restroom was in the basement and the stairs were tough to navigate.Written 18 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AK8397Ontario, Canada1,050 contributionsThis is a good, easy, flat trail with crushed gravel, built on a former railway track. Nice for a stroll or bike ride. We mostly walked along the Wolfville section, where we could see all the mud at low tide. There's even a boardwalk at Wolfville with information panels about the history and geography. The little park there also has a set of hammocks for relaxing, as well as picnic tables and benches. Free parking too.Written 20 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andrea SAustin, TX201 contributionsInside the converted farmhouse is a seating area. The staff had tables set up and glasses ready. The wines were very nice. The view of the Minas Basin was pleasant as well as views of the vines. The bucolic setting was lovely. I adored the old car in the parking lot (used for winery tours). The restrooms were upstairs (a challenge for mobility impaired customers). No charcuterie board here, but snacks were available for purchase.Written 18 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CooperCoboconk, Canada108 contributionsWe took the self-guided tour and enjoyed reading about local heroes throughout the ages. The house has not been restored, the wide plank floors, the kitchen setup and such a great upstairs. The displays are interesting and the Docent was available for our questions at the end of our tour. We spent approx an hour here and then walked the outdoor garden before departure. Entry was by donation.Written 30 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- trimicBlack Mountain, NC348 contributionsThis is the oldest Presbyterian Church in Canada dating back to 1767. It does not have stain glass windows or a cathedral ceiling or velvet cushens on the pews. It does however exemplifies the simplicity of the early of the earliy churches of the 1700s.
This is still an active congregaion however, now a church affiliated with the United Church of Canada. Only wish we could have been there to attend worship on Sunday.

- Ellen BFort Myers, FL77 contributionsThis pub is in downtown Wolfville & seemed to be quite popular. I’d never tried hard cider before & didn’t know what to expect. Staff (& patrons!) were very helpful in making suggestions & pouring tasting samples. Staff also knew particulars of taking hard cider back through US Customs. There were many different kinds & I bought 3 bottles.Written 18 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
