Having a great time at GEMS. I have a picnic set up by the hills and it is so beautiful. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great place for a family or even friends!

Very peaceful countryside. About 1 hr drive from Kuala Lumpur. Good for a family outing and picnic at riverside. The river is very clean and clear. Not far away, you will find a fig tree farming. They have fresh fig fruits and its various fig fruit products to sell. Will surely visit again soon.

Quaint and interesting place to visit. Myself and my family of 4 decided to visit the Fig farm at Janda Baik, on Sat 9 March 2024. We reached there around 250 pm and had to wait for around 10 minutes before we were let in. There was a foreigner lad (probably a Pakistani) who was looking after the Fig enclosure. We were allowed only into the Fig enclosure and were not allowed into the rest of the farm. Inside the enclosure, we could see the figs were being cultivated. The enclosure is covered on all sides by a mesh - to prevent birds etc from entering inside. You are not allowed to pluck any of the figs (ripe ones), hence we took some pictures and exited. At the office, we picked up some fig fruits and fig vinegar. The gentleman at the counter mentioned that only members of the "club" were allowed into the rest of the farm, as there were some "rare" flowers inside. Felt bit odd, but as we were made to feel unwelcome, we left the place. Cannot comment on the rest of the farm, as we did not visit. The Fig farm, per se is not an exiting place to visit. It is small, the help there is more to prevent us from wandering off rather than to provide some information or real guidance. Not worth spending so much time trying to reach the place, unless you are a die-hard fig farming enthusiast!

Travelled all the way there and found out the place is abandoned and closed. Entrance is broken and overtaken by nature. Locals told us that the place has already closed down long time ago, but their website no official announcement.

Situated on the highland jungle of Janda Baik which is about an hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, SWAT Paintball is a perfect choice we have made for our family day activity. They offers various packages such as Camping/Overnight Hiking/Paintball that suits adults, kids and families that enjoy extreme games in the nature surrounding.

There were 18 of us including all the uncles/aunties/nieces/nephews/cousins and we are devided into 2 teams. All are excited to play the paintball game as it sounds so robust. As beginners, we played on a smaller field with natural bush/stream/bridge and many more natural props which makes the battle feels so real. (see pic attached). They have another natural jungle terrain catered for the hardcore elite.

I would highly recommend this SWAT Paintball to be in your itinerary if you are planning a family day or whatever gathering held in Janda Baik. I found that besides releiving your stress, it also helps to foster better relationships and teamwork spirit.

My family really enjoyed our time at SWAT Paintball and would love to come back again.
Thanks to Justin the owner and all the staff (marshalls). MASK ON!!!
