    Beautiful private cove. Clothing optional
Parking free from October until end of March
Steep walk from parking to beach. No facilities on beach so bring all essentials- it’s a tough walk back if you forget something.

It was a 20 minute walk with great views along the way. In some places the path was hard to walk because of the rocks.

Quite easy walk from cala Moraig to cala Llebeig and back. You walk through the cliffs on the coast line between the 2 “calas”. You will still require adecuate shoewear, to avoid injuries. The descent to cala Llebeig and the way up is the hardest part, you will need to be fit. But you can also skip that part and keep it a light walk.

You can park your car at the parking just up cala Moraig, and start the route there. Follow the road up (not down the cala) till you see the info boards. Then just follow route white/green, although the path is very clear, you will not need the signs. According to the infp board the walk is 55min one way, so 1h50 return, but it can be done in less.

Along the way some info boards about old caves used by locals way back.

There was hardly anybody at the cobblestone beach, the surf was very quiet, ideal for an hour of peace and quiet

We were staying in Moraira & drove all around the neighbouring towns including Javea, Denia, Benissa and this lovely old town.
If you are interested in strolling around narrow winding streets, looking at the ancient architecture, photography or simply people watching from a cafe table then it’s worth stopping here.

This is located on the beach at Playa Del Moraig behind an urbanisation. There is a car park at the top of the slope leading down to the beach which is quite long and might be difficult for some in hot weather although it is flat tarmac. At the bottom of the slope which you cannot drive down is the beach and the arch shaped rock formations which are very cool.
