What travellers are saying
- Clive MLondon, UK7 contributionsI took my animal-loving wife pig walking for a belated birthday treat. Although I expected to tag along as observer/photographer, we were both captivated. The venue is very well-organized, but unspoiled, with a handy loo, supply of wellies and changing area, but nothing to detract from the charm of the rural setting. Our guides were welcoming, quickly explained what to expect and the key dos and don'ts, then we were off in the company of four charming pig youngsters who rapidly sussed out what was in our treats buckets. They're real characters and in no time we were calf-deep in a beautiful stream, chatting away while we kept them supplied with healthy nibbles. Back at the farm, we left the youngsters in their pen and picked up three older ladies in their field for part two of the walk where we were equally entranced by these intelligent and characterful animals. This attraction lives up to its reputation and is thoroughly recommended. Thanks, too, for the tip about the nearby Welsh Rarebit Centre - delicious!Written 5 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Allie in WonderlandBridgend, UK5 contributionsI booked an alpaca trek for my partner’s birthday. As I’d been before, I knew how lovely the animals, the walk and the views were - my boyfriend absolutely loved it. The spot at the top of the hill is perfect for photos and having some relaxed time with the alpacas - my boy, Merlin, really enjoyed scratches on his neck. We got to feed the alpacas after the walk, as well. It was an unforgettable adventure.Written 8 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mitch2 contributionsAbsolutely wonderful 3 hours. Mike explained everything very concisely & made sure we were happy that we were confident in steering the boat. Really relaxing trip to the lock where we moored up for a picnic. Lovely journey back with lots of laughs as our captain wasn’t quite as good as the one on the way out. Collected blackberries on the way back & unfortunately some got into the boat which were sat on. Dai Tug was very forgiving. Wonderful trip and would definitely do it again & that’s the experience of someone who regularly walks the canalWritten 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dwebb67Milton Keynes, UK12 contributionsWe had an absolutely amazing time walking our sheep. They are such characters! Nicola was knowledgeable and very friendly. She answered all the questions - even the silly ones! On a personal note, when we locked our keys in the car Nicola managed, on a Sunday, to get a locksmith out to us and save the day. Thank you so much!Written 18 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dawn S6 contributionsI have always wanted to walk behind a waterfall James gave me that opportunity - and so much more. He made the whole trip enjoyable and interesting due to his extensive knowledge, and his care and guidance enabled us to challenge ourselves and achieve things we wouldn’t have thought possible. An all round amazing experience tripWritten 2 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Connector417713809501 contributionI recently had a one to one photography workshop with Nigel, and despite the awful weather forecast of rain, we ventured out up to the local waterfalls to do some long exposure photography and then onto some landscape locations and a lovely church.
It was an very informative day and i have taken the knowledge gained and have started to look at composition and creativity in a totally new way.
Nigel has a great approach and also a wealth of amazing knowledge and experience, which he is also willing to share.
We also went through a landscape presentation and some editing using Lightroom and photoshop
I cannot recommend enough, and i will be booking the next workshop soon.Written 9 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
